• I do not track what numbers you enter; the calculations happen on your computer. However, if you decide to share links (emphasis on the share), then I will see which ones are most popular. Also, I may periodically collect anonymous usage or performance information to ensure the service is behaving correctly.

InstaCalc performs calculations on the client, and no calculations or results are sent directly to the server.

Permanent links to calculations are meant to be shared publicly, and contain the contents of the calculation (along with any notes) at the time the link is saved. Treat these hyperlinks as public information; there are no guarantees, express or implied, about their confidentiality.

InstaCalc collects standard website usage information using typical analytics packages in order to monitor site usage, availability, and otherwise improve the quality of service.

InstaCalc reserves the right to sell or use aggregate, non-personally-identifiable information, such as which calculations are the most popular. No PII is collected as part of using InstaCalc, but please do not include information in the notes section that you do not wish others to read when they visit your link.
